This Christmas tree novelty card only requires two pieces of cardboard with easy cuts and a simple fold. Once made it can be decorated to become a stunning Christmas tabletop show piece. There are no frustrating fiddly bits and complications. There is no intricate cutting, weaving or origami like folding. Prepare for Making the Novelty TreeDownload the template for both the tree and the backing card upon which the tree sits. Make sure to read the instructions in their entirety before you begin. Once you understand how the pieces fit together and how the flaps will pop out, cut the two cards to the correct size. Use a tracing box to transfer the lines to the piece of coloured card being sure that the lines match exactly. Cut the edges of the tree as shown in the photographs on the website. Follow the instructions until the tree is made. Use a stencil to write a word such as Christmas below the tree (Have a Happy …..can be on the front of the card) Decorate the Christmas Tree
This is an ideal card to make with young children. It is easy to create and yet with a small amount of effort fantastic results can be achieved.
